Canton Fair, established in 1957, has been successfully held for 133 sessions and is held every spring and autumn in Guangzhou, China. Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the largest buyer attendance, the most diverse buyer source country, the greatest business turnover and the best reputation in China.
As the first session to fully resume onsite exhibition after the shift of China’s COVID-19 response, the 133rd Canton Fair opened steadily with the largest exhibition scale of 1.5 million square meters, attracted nearly 35,000 domestic and foreign exhibitors attend the onsite exhibition covering 16 exhibition categories. The 133rd Canton Fair established trade relations with 229 countries and regions around the world, and the total number of overseas buyers attending the Canton Fair onsite reached nearly 130,000, and the online platform received 30.61 million visits.
Since the 101st session, International Pavilion was set up for the purpose of promoting the import and export balance, as well as helping international companies explore global commercial opportunities. With the development of 33 sessions, International Pavilion has attracted more than 16,000 overseas exhibitors from over 100 countries and regions, including many outstanding country & regions delegations and world-known companies.
In the 133rd Canton Fair, International Pavilion was set in three phases for the first time, attracting 508 enterprises from 40 countries and regions in total.
